Top 5 Film & Television Apps in Poland - Q2 2022 Performance

In the second quarter of 2022, the performance of the top Film & Television apps in Poland exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies from WarnerMedia saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at approximately $35K in mid-April and mid-May. Weekly downloads showed a consistent decline from 148.6K in late March to around 35K by the end of June. Active users also saw a downward trend, starting at 201.8K and ending at 173.9K.

Netflix maintained steady weekly downloads, averaging around 30K throughout the quarter. Revenue experienced a peak of about $28K in late April. Active users hovered around 2M, with slight increases and decreases throughout the period.

Disney+ demonstrated significant growth in its short available period, with weekly revenue reaching up to $211K in mid-June. Downloads peaked at 128.6K in the same period. Active users increased from 71.8K to 183.4K by the end of June.

CANAL+ from Groupe CANAL+ had a more modest performance, with weekly downloads decreasing from 18.7K to 8.6K over the quarter. Revenue remained low, peaking at $39 in late June. Active users also saw a decline from 103.7K to 103.8K.

Player.pl from TVN S.A. showed fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 14.8K and ending at 7.7K. Active users peaked at 113.1K in late April but gradually declined to 89K by the end of June.
